Langley

It's a good bet that in parts of Langley, British Columbia's birthplace, horses might just outnumber people. Canada's self-proclaimed horse capital is also home to an aviation museum, winery, and lots of history. From Vancouver, it's less than an hour's drive east along Highway 1. It’s also a great place to rent a Recreation Vehicle (RV) to start your exploration of British Columbia and further on to the Canadian Rockies.

The charming, river-front Fort Langley, named for the nearby Fort Langley National Historic Site of Canada, provides lots to browse through along the centre’s tree-lined streets, whether you're looking for the perfect antique or an original work of art. Langley City is the revitalised business district and pedestrian oriented streets make shopping a pleasure. Langley is also one of the communities that participate in Circle Farm Tour, a self-guided journey through the farm-gate markets, wineries and agri-tourism experiences.
